Themescene HD81 with 2 displays?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anybody has the Themescene HD81 set up with a plasma as well.

The HD81 has a separate scaler box which has a HDMI loop through for an AV amp.

I'm wondering in this setup can you use the loop through (with a splitter) to supply a plasma, or could you split the hdmi signal as it is sent on the single cable to the projector itself?

I'm guessing that the scaler would moan if the projector is off itself, therefore I would not be able to have the plasma on, fed by the scaler, with the projector off.

This would be for day time tv viewing, with the projector screen in front of the plasma for film viewing with the projector.

cheers

Karl

Does the loop HDMI support HDCP ? If not that would be an issue depending on the source.

I think it does, as the instruction manual informs you need to put the loop cable in to allow the image to be passed to the projector.
