jvc hd-1 component issue

Hi All, Just bought one of these fantastic projectors and very happy with it apart from this problem. When i hook it up to my cyrus dvd8 via component leads the picture flicks to a blue screen for a second every half an hour. Can someone please tell me if this is a fault of the projector or just an incompatibility problem. cheers for a great site.

Re: jvc hd-1 component issue

the cables worked fine for my last projector. I have had a look in the service menu and its showing software 5.9. Can anyone please explain how I upgrade the firmware or do I have to return to dealer? It is as though someone is pressing the comp button.many thanks Dale.
