HS10 vs VW12HT

Hi

I have a friend in the US who says he can get me a VW12HT for the same price as I could get a HS10 over here. Assuming there are no issue with power supply conversion, warranty, etc I have 2 questions:

1. From a PQ point of view is this a no-brainer?
2. I have seen lots of discussions about the fan noise on the HS10. From the specs I see that the 12HT has the same decibel figure quoted as the HS10 (30 db). Do you guys reckon it's the same fan setup and hence the same noise level?

Any think of a good reason why I shouldn't bite my friends hand off here?

thanks

From a PQ point of view, it's a no-brainer. From a power supply point of view, if it's the same as the VW10, then it has a multivolrage supply as standard.

I am not sure how hte HS10 works functionally but the 12 is excellent in it's tweakability and useability.

If you like an HS10 then I think you will LOVE a 12....
