NEC HT1000 owners

Im after your opinion on this projector. Widescreen review gave it a very positive writeup. My mate has a 2 year old DLP projector and I see rainbows occasionally. Will the NEC have less rainbows because it is new?. Do you think it was worth £3000 compared to other competitive projectors?

I had no luck searching for screenshots, so post yours if possible

I had a Davis DLS8 for almost 3 years, and although I never saw rainbows, the NEC has a faster colour wheel, so the rainbows should be less. The only way to know for sure is to go and see one.

I think it's worth every penny myself, and after comparing it to the Infocus X1, Sharp Z90 and Sim2 HT200DMF, I felt it was the best value, and the best image bar the Sim2, but there wasn't much in it in my opinion.

I'll try to get some screen shots on my web site some time.
