1080i60 inverse telecine

1080i60 inverse telecine

Hi,

are there any PJs that will take a 1080i60 signal and show it in multiple refreshes of 24Hz/fps eg 96Hz, the same was the Pioneer plasmas do PureCinema Advanced ? Thanks.

Interesting question. Can't think of any off top of my head. However there are plenty that will accept a 1080p24 or 48 signal so you could use an external device to do the deinterlacing and frc for you

I don't know of any that can do this other than perhaps some models that are packaged as a bundle with a third party video processor. The alternative is a PJ that accepts and properly processes 1080p/24 (or 48) in combination with an external video processor such as a Lumagen. I use one of these to convert 1080i/60 film material to 1080p/24.
