Optoma Projector spare parts?

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anybody knew anywhere I could pick up a colour wheel for my EP745 Projector.

I have searched ebay and the net but cannot find a reseller of any projector parts. I contacted Optoma directly and sunrise surprise they actually charge more to get it fixed than the projector is actually worth!

- they even charge £80 just to look at the thing! (even though i have told them what is wrong - never mind the £300 is would take to get it fixed.)

If anyone has any idea or knows someone who works for Optoma and knows where in Taiwan they source their parts from then it would be great if you could help me.

same boat as me mate.

i need a part for my projector and getting hold of anyone that can just send me a part without having to send it into a repair centre is ridiculous.
