+Sorry for anothother HD70 Question

Sorry I am new to projectors and home theater setups. I am trying to build a theater room in my basement. I bought an optoma hd70 and I am going to buy an onkyo tx-sr605. My question is will i be able to connect a toshiba hd-a2 dvd player, my cable box, and my xbox to the 605 without running all kinds of cables from the projector, or would i need a different reciever to eliminate the different cables from the projector, or is this impossible with the projector i have purchased?

I just dont feel like running many cables 20ft. across the room. Again sorry if this is a dumb question

an onkyo 605 should do the job ok, you would connect the hddvd player straight to the 605 hdmi socket, you would then connect the 360 using component to one of the component sockets on the 605 and you would connect the optical as well to the 605 for audio. With you cable box if its an hd box you would just use hdmi and optical, if its a standard box you could get a scart to svideo cable and use that and use r+l phono out for audio.

You would then run one long cable from the 605 to the projector and it should work fine.

In my set up i have an hd 70 projector and i have a sony 910 amp, to my amp i have connected my sky hd,toshiba he1 hddvd player,my ps3 and my xbox 360, i just run 1 10m hami cable to my projector and i can view all my sources on the projector just usin the sony amp to do the switchg.
