improving performance of rear projection setup

Hi

I did a test today using a 4000 ansi projection housed in a 8ft x 8ft x 8ft wooden cube which we covered the 3 internal sides with thin black cloth to improve the brightness of the picture. This worked out fine but the client now wants a larger screen (He saw a 8ft x 6ft demo) and he now wants a 10ft by 7½ft. I was wondering if anyone out there had experimented with different ways to black out the interior of the cabinet to improve the performance of their projectors. I still have the roof and and floor that can be either painted black or clothed and I've considered using black floor tiles. Any ideas?

Re: improving performance of rear projection setup

Never tried it myself but cant you just use Chalk board paint. Its matt black so shouldnt reflect much light. To get a smooth finish you could use a gloss roller.
