Help with faulty toshiba MT8 (infocus 7200)

Hi.

I've a Toshiba MT8 (clone of Infocus 7200) which is about 4 years old, with approx 1300 bulb hours used (in econo mode), with latest firmware (4.0) installed.

The fault is that if returning from being completely unpowered, it emits a clicking relay noise. If left for 10 mins or so, the clicking stops and returns to normal operation, which shows no sign of any problem (still giving me a great picture).

Some googling around brings up posts, from US owners, about a power supply problem, but costing approx $500 to repair (by infocus in the US of course).

Has any one had/resolved this problem in the UK ?

This is typical as I was hoping to upgrade come summer 2008 :|

thanks
