However the disadvantage with the dlp is the longer throw need to get the same size image, with my lcd projector i could get a 106" diag image from around 12ft,whereas with the optoma from the same 12 ft i can only get a 92" diag image.
So you need judge whats better for you, no doubt the panasonic and the optoma will produce great images, you just need to judge whats more important for you.
