Black levels on HS10 versus Panny AE300?

General consensus seems to be that the blacks are visibly blacker on the Panasonic AE300 than on the Sony HS10?

Can anyone who has seen both first hand confirm this?

I have just returned an HS10 for color uniformity problems and may decide to swap for another or opt for the Panny instead. Black levels seems to be the thing that might give the Panny the edge so how much better is it, or not?

I think if the blacks are not noticeably better, I will stick with the Sony HS10.

I haven't seen a AE300 but having tweaked my HS10 quite a bit with the supplied filter in place I have acheived much better black level than out oif the box, I'm sure the same could be said for the AE300, anyone thats seen both will probably only have seen out of the box levels so the question will only lead to a misguided opinion.

You will really have to check out an AE300 for yourself because its your perseption that matters.
