pj-tx300. Is my bulb going? Whirry, clicky noise...

This weekend I got back from hol and put my pj on for an hour or so. No problems. When I turned it off with the remote, it started making a sort of whirring, clicking sound and the power and bulb lights were both red. It wouldn't turn itself off so I had to use the switch on the back. This has happened twice now, although the last time I tried it it was ok and worked normally.

Does this mean it's about to explode? I do have 1350hrs on the bulb but hoped i'd make 2000.

It was pretty cold in my house at the time but I don't think that'd have anything to do with it would it?

Cheers chaps in advance.

Maybe it is full of dust and the fan is not effective? Or something else made itself a home?
