Sanyo PLV-Z5 - Best Price?

Hi
I'm looking to purchase this PJ this week.
Best price I've seen is arounf £630 from Ivojo.
Is anyone aware of any better deals around at the moment - I think there was a promo featuring a free lamp offer in the recent past.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure if the free lamp offer exists anymore - but yes that is a decent price for the mighty Z5!

sure do:

The reviewers comments about its sharpness are what sold me, and I have to say it is brilliant for the price - excellent inputs also considering its price point.

The Lens shift is probably one of my favourite features on it - having the ability to perfectly align the image with ease.

Thanks. Couple of quick questions if I may:
1. Looks like a grey/black case model. Did you get this from a UK supplier?
2. What's performance like when there's ambient light in the room?

Cheers

Re: Sanyo PLV-Z5 - Best Price?

The black is only available to europe - excludes uk, god knows why they excluded the uk for the black model .... I ordered of pixmania - everything is in english, so its perfect

Only caution is that the black model (europe) comes with 2yr warranty, where-as the silver uk model has 3yrs.

I had a strict colour scheme and really loved the black so I went for this version.

When it comes to ambient light it really does depend on how much light your talking about, right now im viewing it with with my lights on medium and it looks perfectly acceptable to me - however I would never use it (like with any projector) with too much light in the room.

The projector itself has many many options and presets - some of which increase the light output to make the picture brighter, so im sure it will suit your needs.

*off to play some assassins creed now
