Projector Reccomendations For £500 Budget

Hi people, first post. I've been aware of these foums for some time but I haven't had a real need to post until now.

Our company has a cheepo Epson projector for anything from powerpoint to firendly wii competition with other companies. We've sold it to one of our clients and it's an excuse to go for a new projector.

We are looking for ideally an HD projector of some sorts. I think brightness is on our top priority, Warranty and reliability would be a plus.

Maximum of £500, doesn't have to be that much, just a limit please.

Any recommendations will be muchly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure i'd recommend the above, i don't know anything about it but it doesn't give any specs and it looks like one of those cheapo ultra bright low resolution and qaulity "game" projectors, but i could be wrong.

Up your budget a little and look at the Z5 or HD70 units new, or for a bargin check out the classifieds on this very forum, they sell all sorts of great models for quite cheap, and you can haggle too :D .

Your absolutley right - infact spending $200 on that would be a complete waste! The Optoma HD70 or Z5 will cost you around £600 - £700 but the picture quality will be absolutley stunning and worth every penny! (I know, i have one! - Z5)....it will last you many years!

Something Ive learned about projectors is that you get what you pay for, and if you pay $200 for a projector you will know about it when you see the poor image quality!
