Where to get an AE700 update cable?

I've got one of the first batch of AE700s, so it's on the earliest firmware. Some months ago there was a thread where an update cable was being passed round, but alas no-one could get it to work (myself included).

I'm now starting to tire of the occasional flashes when watching HD via HDMI - one of the issues that, AIUI, the later firmware solves. So, I'm wondering if it's possible to obtain such a cable from anywhere else? Or, does anyone have one that they know to be working that they can lend out? In the latter case, I'm happy to cover the costs of postage.
