benq 20000 vs Sony black pearl

I´m thinking of upgrading my projector, and right not the Sony black pearl looks like it could be it, but what info is there out on the BenQ 20000, release date official yet? How would these 2 projectors compare?

The current specs I´ve found are:
20k:1 contrast
Reon processing
Ti´s Dynamic Black and Brilliant Color
Lamp and lens iris
HDMI 1.3 ...

The 10000 had a quoted contrast of 10k:1, they should be able to up that by 20-30% with the DC4 if it´s used, the dual iris should also boost contrast, it doesn´t look like the dynamic black is doing much does it? Has any other projector used dynamic black and is it not a dynamic iris(first for a dlp projector then)? How has it worked in RPTV´s it´s been used in?

It also has brilliant color, which should give it a brighter mode(with inaccurate colors), which should be nice for video gaming etc.

Are there any sites that have measured the contrast and brightness of the benq 10000 and the ruby, making it possible to guess how the black pearl and 20000 will compare?

Re: benq 20000 vs Sony black pearl

The native contrast of the sony is said to be 7500:1 the current crop of dlp's is around 3000:1.

The new benq is using newer technology, the specs say 20000:1 which is around double what the current crop manufactures specs say.

So given that fact the benq might reach 6000:1

Based on that the two projectors are virtually identical in real world performance to say which one is better right now is not possible, it is about pros and cons of each which you will find out when reviews start flooding in.
