Which projector shall i upgrade to??

Panasonic PTAE1000 (£1,899.99)

Themescene HD80 (1,999,99) with 11foot HDMI cable

Panasonic PT-AX200 (970.99)

I currently own a Benq PB8220 which ive had for almost 2 years. Mainly used to the special gaming session or the Odd film.

I want to upgrade, but undecided on which of the above? I want something bright enough for gaming and with nicer picture than my current.

Will i see a big difference if i upgraded to the PT-AX200? If not, which of the 2 1080p projectors to buy?

Thanks.

Re: Which projector shall i upgrade to??

well I would rule out the panasonic as it has been discontinued in preparation of the 2000 series release and coming by one now is almost impossible!!

Re: Which projector shall i upgrade to??

The new Panasonic PTAX200 is about the brightest of the new breed of lcd projectors at 2000 lumens.

It also has a refresh rate of 5ms and a special gaming mode, and so would be ideal for games.

Don't think you will get a hold of the PTAE1000, as I hunted high and low a few weeks ago and gave up (check my thread).

Don't know how the AX200 would compare to your existing pj, although this is the new bang up to date model, why not have a demo ?

I would think you'd be impressed

Re: Which projector shall i upgrade to??

Thanks for your replies..

I actually know where to purschase a Panasonic PTAE1000 but not sure if it's really worth the extra grand over the PTAX200?
