Hoya fl-d hmc

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I've just ordered a 49mm one for a z1. If anyone else wants me to stick one in the order to save shipping costs ($33!) for them post quick before the order goes through. Filter costs $18.

I'm paying the shipping anyway, so this is a freebie...

Is it too late to add one? If this is the filter that everyone was talking about that improved blacks or something i will have one at $18.

I got it from the link below mainly because they would accept my card over the internet without me having to fax a copy or any other faffing about. Shipping cost me $25 in the end.

See also (looks cheaper)

I'll post as to whether it makes a difference when I get it and have time to calibrate.

You can get these in the uk, at least I think they are the same, Hoya Multi Coated Fluorescent Day Filters, from jessops.com £21 delivered (for the 52mm at least)

I looked on the jessops site and they do the standard, but not the hmc one. The importers don't list the hmc as an option on the site.

For anyone that is interested, You can screw a 67mm Hoya filter straight onto the lenshood of an AE-300......
Looks better, but you have to run the projector on high lamp setting to get good results.

Is it able to run my z1 in lowlamp mode( ECO ) with a Hoya FL-D ? Or is the PJ lack of ANSI Lumen? I don´t wanna run the PJ in normal mode because of the jet-plane-sound( which so just vanish in lowmode )

regards Andreas
