Sony VPL-CX6 Lamp life

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone out there can give me some lamp life advice or info.

I have a Sony VPL-CX6 projector and the lamp is approaching 1950hrs use,the manufacturer says I should get around an average of 2000hrs.

My problem is i am now experiencing a very slight blueish colouring at the bottom of the picture, the rest of the picture is fantastic

Could this have something to do with the lamp life coming to an end and is the lamp uniformity degrading.I still get a fantastic image but it is starting to annoy me.

Perhaps a new lamp is required!!!!!!

I have had no problems with the little projector and it has been a fantastic purchase
