Benq W100 Vs BenQ MP611C

Hi.

I wonder if someone can offer me some advice.

I'm looking to use the projector for mainly waching sport on standard def Sky, a few movies (again sd) and a bit of Xbox 360.

The only differences i can see between the two are these.

W100 - contrast 2500:1 - 1300 ANSI - native 16:9 - DVI port
MP611c - contrast 2000:1 - 2100 ANSI - native 4:3 but will display 16:9 - no DVI.

I'm loking to connect using Component RGB so dont need the DVI input.
Am i missing something or might i just aswell get the MP611c.

Oh price wise the W100 is £340 and the MP611c is £300.

Thanks for any advice.
Dave

Re: Benq W100 Vs BenQ MP611C

Well, surely the W100 is better being widescreen.

The 611 is a data projector which is why the lumnens is higher and 4:3. It is designed for offices which is partly lit. Also, the 611 does not have a normal component connection. It does component through a VGA socket. It is not deisgned for AV.
