hi all, not ventured in here, spent most of my time in the speakers forum :-)
so i've stumped up for a surround upgrade, and now thinking i'd like to do the same with the pj.

i currently have a sony vpl-hs3 which i purchased back in 2004.

any suggestions for an upgrade? preferably lcd over DLP.

How about some extra details....i.e. budget, throw distance, etc.

throw is about 11.5ft budget around 500 if poss (second hand obviously)

after having a mooch last night and this morning, the 2 immediate pj's that appeal are the panny ax100 and the hitachi tx300.

have seen them for 736 and 770 respectively. new.

any thoughts?
