Cheap projectors - Whats important?

ok, im looking at many projectors under £350 what i want ti know is should i go for the highest resolution i can find or, go for nice colour quality

gonna be used for xbox 360 maybe a PS3 down the line, some tv/dvds

At this price point you're not going to get high resolution, so stick WVGA resolution with good quality picture.
The Hitachi is a no no - this is intended for business presentations, and doesn't have the features you want for home use (quiet fan, high contrast, av connections, native widescreen). The Benq W100 is probably the best projector picture quality wise for this price, but check you can put it somewhere convenient in your living room as the optical zoom doesn't leave much room to adjust. The Benq website will probably have a tool you can use to determin this.
