Projector is on but displaying only a blank white image :(

Hi guys,

I have an optoma EP725, worked well in the past but last summer I've pushed it a bit too much, the lamp was overheated and it switched off itself twice.

It then restarted again after the light bulb cooled down, apparently no probs.

This time around though it looks like the projector is taking ages to boot, looks like it's trying to activate itself few times, finally managing to boot up but the only picture I see is a blank white image, changing the sources doesn't work and it doesnt even display the usual optoma splash screen at the boot.

I know probably I know the answer myself but do I need to change the bulb? Or could it be something wrong with the projector? Why is it showing me a white screen? Surely if the bulb has gone nothing would have been displayed?

I'm a bit confused but I'm confident in your expert help

Cheers,
Dado.
