Cheers. | Put it another way. It's a lot cheaper then a replacement for the PJ.

Does this use the same bulb as the XV-Z3000?

Darn it I may just buy the projector at that price just for a spare lamp. How much can I flog it without a lamp for?

Well I just went ahead and ordered, just to remove the bulb. And flog the rest, the whole PJ with bulb is almost half the price of a replacement for my XV-Z3000. Hopefully the bulbs are the same as a google search suggested they both use the AN-100LP. Only thing that worries me is xv-z3000 is 1200 lumens while the xv-z100 is rated at 1000 lumens. Is this anything to worry about?

Tempted myself but with the amount I use the pj if it gets anywhere near its quoted 3000 hour mark in eco mode I will probably never need a replacement bulb

Thing is I'm sure this price will only last a few days and on ebay I reckon you can get at least £150 brand new without a bulb from someone. So in essence you are spending less than £100 for a new bulb.

Well as the saying ' If it's too good to be true, then it probably is' goes, well it applies again. Seems to be a misprice lads, just spoke to customer services and the orders aren't being processed and we will receive phone calls on Monday.

1) Someone with a spare bulb and no pj to go with it, which is unlikely
or
2) Someone who thinks it is a good price for a decent pj only to find out after buying it that the bulbs cost 3 times as much as the pj they just bought for a 'bargain'
I personally couldn't sell someone a pj without revealing the true cost of the replacement bulb at which point they probably wouldn't want it.

Well it's still up for the same price.
TBH though, I don't really think it would be worth that much more as it's resolution only 854x480, and you can get a full HD model for just a few hundred more.
EDIT: surely they should have to honour the price by law, as thats the price it states. Office of fair trade and a link to the page for them anyone.
