Other cheap projecters (time frame)

Anybody know when the other PJ manufacturers are likely to bring there PJs down to the Panasonic price range.
Have been put off the Panasonic due to the many threads on here regarding reliability.

Apparently Richer Sounds will be selling the sony VPL-HS1 for £1200

They won't appear online or in-store - it's a special offer advertised in the specialist press - you local store is able to special-order one for you.

Dont bother with a LCD get the new Sharp XV-Z90 DLP Projector Just seen it today and it is unbelivable I have seen the Sim2 in the past which I also thought was very good The Sharp has a retail price of only £2500 Compared to £4000 for the HT200 that is the entry level Sim. also the Sharp is very quite

Dare I suggest the Sanyo PLV-Z1?

Richer Sounds deal on the HS1 is a no brainer....i.e don't buy it. £1200 will get you a better projector....
