Just sucumbed to the dark side and now have a PS3 hooked to the PJ.

Unfortuntaley I cannot get the PS3 to work through HDMI - only component. Bit of a pain as I bouyght a nice new HDMI switching amp at the same time.

After much talking to Sony support they say there is nothing more they can do - must be the PJ. Having slept on the problem I wonder whether problem is HDCP related as I canot see anything to confirm MT700 is HDCP compliant.

In use all I get on the screen when HDMI connected is a blank screen with "576i/50hz" in the bottom right - i.e. it seems to be receiving a SD signal.

any ideas?
