Only close-ups look sharp on Panasonic ae900 pj

Hi

Ive noticed this in the past few weeks.....but its probably always been there.

When watching a film,all of the long range shots in the film are very unclear,and its hard to make out facial expressions,detail etc.

Its only in close-up scenes where the picture detail is fantastic.

Has anyone noticed this?

Its a panasonic ae900 lcd.

what are you feeding the projector, are you feeding it sd dvd, if so i guess thats why it is not sharp, you wont know how good the projector is until you feed Hd i guess

Mines is pretty sharp, I'm feeding it with PC using DVI->HDMI and with Sky HD and a Denon 2200 using a Mark Grant Component through am amp.

S-Video is pretty poor from the Sky+ though
