AX100 / AE900 Controlling via computer

Howdy all,

Just wondering if anyone has come across a program/utility that makes use of the AX100's serial port for controlling it via a PC.(Page 43 of manual)

It seems easy enough to code, I could nearly do it myself but don't have the time right now.

If there is not any program out there is there some sort of program which can be customized?
