quickly.... Infocus IN72 or Sanyo Z3

as per title...

opinions needed very quickly... A Z3 or an IN72

i know one is DLP one is LCD and that the sanyo is hd ready, whilst the IN72 will accept and scale the signal.

but has anybody seen both in action and have an opinion on which is better?

Well I would say the Z3 is a no brainer and ought to be available pretty cheap now. I have watched various material from 360 games to DVDs on a friend's and was pretty impressed I have to say. I also thought it was pleasantly quiet - though my Screenplay 7200 is hardly quiet

I bought the Z3 2 months ago and am very impressed. Depends who you talk to in the trade but whilst the Z4 should mean it's better, the Z3 still beats it on picture quality. There are differences to both the Z3 and Z4/Z5 but if it is just for watching DVDs with the ability to going HD, you won't be disappointed.

Re: quickly.... Infocus IN72 or Sanyo Z3

I've not seen either so at a complete statistical guess I would say

Blacks goes to the In72
Sharpness goes to Z3
Brightness to the Z3....I think
Image pop or 3D ness goes to In72
Resolution goes to Z3
Screendoor more visible on In72
Shadow Detail goes to the in72
Lens Shift goes to Z3
Rainbows possible on In72
Noiser fan on In72
Looks goes to In72

So....yeah, Z3 would be my choice too...I think :D
