Panasonic PT-LB3ONTEA is it any good

what is this projector
is it any good compared to panasonic pt-ae700e or pt-ae900e
is it hd ready as in native

please help me with enough info to decide if i should buy 1 or not

For films, no.

It's a pc data projector - very bright (3000 lumens claimed) but at the massive expense of poor poor contrast (only 400:1 - compare this to Panasonics claim for the ax100 of 10,000:1).

Also, the chip is 4:3, not 16:9, and the noise level is 32dB, compared to the mid 20s for most home cinema projectors.

Steer clear, regardless of price. There are plenty more suitable projectors for movies to look at first.
