Projector possible in my room? (pictures)

hey guys,

i really don't know anything about projectors and before i start doing research i thought i would start with the most important question; can i use a projector in my room.

my room has an odd layout with a wall in the centre that looks like it was build to project on.

i don't have a flat horizontal ceiling so i can't suspend it from there.

the only possible solution i can come up with is making a plank against the wall above my curtains and place it there.

it measures 4 meters from my (window) wall to my projection wall and the curtain rails are 240cm high. so i guess the lense of the projector would be around 250cm above the ground and project on a wall 370cm away.

would this work?

here are some pic to ilustrate the situation.

possible but you need to kill the ambient light especially if you want to project 4m
