Optoma movietime

Hi i'm thinking of buying a Movietime DV10 for a log cabin i have at the bottom of my garden. I will be buying this to show films for my kids and there friends, and some football for me and the lads.I have a Sky+ box in my lounge and another Sky digital box in my living room, i currently run a cable from my Sky digi box down to a tv in the cabin, could anyone please tell me if it is possible to connect this RF cable via a converter of some kind to a projector, and what sort of picture would i get ( would it be watchable? ).
Cheers

Love this PJ as you can read in my posts from over a year ago (and no bugger listened or replied to me !! )
It suits my lifestyle perfectly as we are weekend film watchers and the quality on this pj is amazing.and i think Sky is great on it.

Thanks, Robzter - I've read all your posts about this, and seen the screenshots - impressive! It's about to be superceded by the DV11, which has slot loading dvd (so you can ceiling mount the pj for a more permanent solution) and they're tweaking the throw so it's more like the Toshiba ET20.

I'd be more than happy with the DV10, though, as I like the 'It's Saturday night - time for a movie!' feel about it (yeah, I don't have much of a life....!) - it's down to £ 544.00 at Dixons, and I'd get a 5% discount with my Egg card...BUT: Dixons must be absolute pants, surely??? It's £550 from discounttv, and I'd rather buy it from someone with a proper background in PJ aftercare, if you get my drift.

Anyway - thanks for all your posts on this, Robzter - just letting you know that someone was taking notice of you!!!

Have a look at the Lamp Settings menu onscreen. It will show you your usage but not how much you have left, as lamp life is based on expectancy.

It's more like 2500:1 'full on/full off' - the trickery comes from the AI setting, which adjusts the lamp brightness 'on the fly' to accommodate darker scenes. Some people can see it performing this adjustment and have decided to turn it off.

Still get good ratings from those who've bought it, though.

The DV10's AI is totally different to a dynamic iris, it uses software rather than hardware. Basically the bulb just gets brighter or dimmer depending on the scene.
