I saw the light

Hi everybody, I recently bought a new projector and I want to share with you my excitement! I've been using for a couple of years the Sony VPL-HS20 which was my first projector and I was satisfied in general. I am projecting in a 92'' Da-Lite matt screen. But during the last year I mentioned that I was getting a slightly dark picture with washed out colours, so I decided to try something new. I had in mind two pj's, the Panasonic PT-AX100 and the Epson EMP-TW700, but after reading some threads in the forum about problems with the Panasonic, I bought the Epson which here in Greece costs 1169euros, 500euros less than the Panny. So, the Epson sat properly, I put the "Cars" DVD in my player and started watching. Oh, my God! what a shock! The colours were brilliant! The reds were reds, the brightness was amazing. I thought that I was watching my CRT tv, but even better, because the image had better scaling, without the digital filters that tv's are using to enhance detail. My point is that the LCD projectors made a huge step forward and everybody has to see it, to believe it!
