HD1/Pearl Shelf Mounting

I am currently awaiting the feedback on the HD1 / Pearl viewing tonight, but in the mean-time have a probably rather simple question about mounting.

I have plans to mount the projector the right way up, on a shelf, a fraction above the top of the screen.

Is this going to cause any issues?

Not too sure on the pearl but definitely ok on the JVC - quite extensive lens shift capabilities.
