Chaddy you seem to be forgetting I am the boss!! (well during working hours )

Yep she seems happy enough for me to rip apart the living room (again) but I have to buy her a new kitchen

Just need to find an electric screen, cables, new AV cabinet (fireplace is going!) and some carpet & paint.......ohh and about 2k

Re: XBOX 360 HD-DVD Pics on a Optoma H27

Wow I thought I was the only H27 owner on here.

I'm very impressed with my H27 when feeding it SkyHD and 360, I'm currently using a 92" Optoma Panoview matt white screen.

I've not yet got my hands on a 360 HD-dvd drive yet

Hi Rich
Have you been happy with your Panoview 92"?
Currently thinking about this screen as I have seen it for an excellent price.

Very happy, I had a Graywolf II screen before that (still got it) and when comparing the two I thought the Panoview had better colours and looked slightly sharper.

Re: XBOX 360 HD-DVD Pics on a Optoma H27

Hi Rich,

Great to see some more H27 owners. And I am also very happy with my H27.
I never had a screen but with a couple of recent experiments with screen and a shootout with the mighty Infocus IN76 I can say that the screen definitely adds much punch to the wow factor.

Last Sunday, I went to a friends place who has bought a IN76 and a Beamax R 92 inch screen. We did some comparison with the h27.

Results???? Yes very interesting shootout. Will update later on that. I was planning to sell my PJ for some personal reason but after the shootout with IN76 I am thinking of keeping it unless it sells for the asking price I am looking for.

However, i would like to know which Panoview screens you guys are talking about and how much it will cost? I will gift the PJ to my brother and also add in a screen in case i am not able to sell it.

Rich,

Is it this one?

http://www.it247.com/Product/1703-DS-9092PM.MW

I thought Graywolf will increase the contrast. But since you have both please let us know the differences.

Have anyone cheked out the graywolf II ? listed here

http://www.discounttv.co.uk/product/...II_Screen.html

Is the GWII better thaan the panoview matte white?

I guess Ben from discounttv and other retailers who sell and use them in demo rooms will have something to contribute here.

Re: XBOX 360 HD-DVD Pics on a Optoma H27

This is the screen that I am using:

http://www.optoma.co.uk/optoma/scree...C=DS-9092PM.MW

I've not got much knowledge of different screens but I've got a business account with Optoma so have tried the matt white Panoview and the Graywolf II. For my setup I much prefered the Panoview because IMO the colours were better and the screen is smoother (the Graywolf has a grainy texture which I noticed alot while watching)

Hope that helps.
