optoma h27 VGA problem.

I have a problem i think with the VGA on my optoma h27.
At the moment i have a 15 ft VGA cable from the projector into a VGA scart adapter that plugs into the sky box.
I wanted to use my xbox 360 with VGA so i used the VGA connecter that turned the end of the cable into a male so i could use the 15ft cable.
Problem is i get no picture.
I then put just the xbox VGA cable into the VGA and again nothing.
SO now i'm a bit puzzled.
I thn decid to try the 15ft cable in my pc i get a really fuzzy picture while the pc goes through the bios but as soon as the log in screen comes up i get the picture goes off and "NO SIGNAL" comes up.
If i plug the 15ft cable back into te scart adapter the picture for sky comes up.
I'm puzzeld, the manual states the VGA can handle pc analogue, y bp pr.

Re: optoma h27 VGA problem.

In the menu on the projector you can switch the VGA input between RGB scart and VGA use - you need to switch it back to VGA mode for a starter (or use the other VGA input if it has two like the little 716/719 series does)

Re: optoma h27 VGA problem.

well plugged in the vga again, got a picture but it was flickering very fast vertical.
tried the video/rgb and all it did was turn the picture from a normal colour picture to a green picture.
