projector for a friend who has £1000

As above really,a friend of mine wants an electric screen and projector for £1000.
I have a PJXt100 which I am happy with, but im a bit out of touch with whats new on the market.I think i can get a screen for around the £230 mark.
That leaves £800 for the projector.
Thanks for helping out.

Re: projector for a friend who has £1000

Get an Optoma HD70 for 700 quid, leaves enough for a screen and has more then a few favourable comments on here.

Not an electric screen and slighly over budget, with free replacement bulb, but look at this also...

It's probably worth checking out the new Sany lcd and the Panny AX100. I'm one of those who suffers rbe and would get too annoyed by a dlp projector.
