Mounting ae500 vertically - heat buildup problems?

Hi,

Im working on a project that involves me sitting close to a screen with my head quite high. If i mount the projector in the usual fasion (ie. flat or upside down) the top of my head appears in the light path and casts a shadow.

Is it possible for me to mount an ae500 vertically and bounce the image off a mirror onto the screen, gaining a little height? What would be the pros and cons of such a setup? Would heat buildup be a major concern?

For a better idea of what im trying to achieve, please see pic (and ignore the impressive motion platform!).

Couldn't you rear-project the image instead?
