Faulty Projector - NEC LT260 RESULT

I have bought a NEC LT260 DLP Projector 2nd hand. It however has a problem that I cannot find anyone else having. When I power it on I get a screen with lots of vertical lines. (pictured). I do not get a "no signal" image when nothing is plugged in or I cannot get the projector menus up.

Does anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it?

Thanks.

*UPDATE*

Apparently it is a faulty Colour Wheel. NEC are going to repair it and return it. Total cost to me was £88 for them to asess it and £52 to fix it and return it.

I paid to send it to them.
