Calibrating projector image from long distance (panasonic ae900)

hi

I have a panasonic ae900 projector,at the moment its resting on a table (very temporary) about 10 feet from the screen (100inch screen).

i want to be able to move the projector back and put it on the rear wall, room is about 30 feet long,is there any way of calibrating the image size from a long distance rather than having to position the projector to accomodate for the image size?

Panasonic ae900 projector.

thanks for your time

Re: Calibrating projector image from long distance (panasonic ae900)

If I can get it, the issue is image size... well you get it back there, you turn the zoom ring to 1x, and then you see if it is small enough, or bigger than what you want becoz of the distance...

anyway, test it... and if it does not what you want then you should consider the ceiling...

or is it sth else you r saying?

There's a projector calculator for your projector here

http://www.projectorcentral.com/Pana...ulator-pro.htm

According to the calculator. The furthest you can have you projector back from a 100 inch screen is 20ft.
