Sony, Sim2 InFocus, ProjectionDesign, Tosh and Epson all at What hifi show next week

http://www.whathifishow.co.uk/

Particularly interested in seeing the Sim2 3-chip 1080.
Although it will be nice to see the ProjectionDesign model now it's in full production.
Nothing states for sure that the Pearl will be there, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a copy of the stand at the Manchester show last weekend.

Anyway - hopefully it will be interesting for us projector fans.

Re: Sony, Sim2 InFocus, ProjectionDesign, Tosh and Epson all at What hifi show next week

I'll be there on the Saturday and the 3 chip 1080 is one of the projectors I'm hoping to see too. I believe RTFM will be there and it's a ticketed demo.

I haven't checked, but will the Pearl be there too?

Sony are, but it doesn't mention the Pearl. I'm hoping so.
Sim2 have never disappointed me yet with a demo, so fingers crossed.
Do you just pick up tickets from the show reception?

I ordered mine on-line (it's a little cheaper), but I don't see why you can't get them at reception unless it's severely packed.

Re: Sony, Sim2 InFocus, ProjectionDesign, Tosh and Epson all at What hifi show next w

Our plan is to have about 40 seats and our presentations will be every half hour. To avoid long queues and queuing times we have decided on a ticket system this year, simply come to the Fronsac room and collect a ticket for your chosen demo time, then you can enjoy the rest of the show - knowing you're not going to miss the best projector demo at the show

We will also have limited standing room.

Please be aware that we will be holding a press conference on Friday 12.30 - 13.30 so the room will be closed during this time.

Hopefully we will not disappoint you, we have something special planned this year - please come and see us and make yourselves known to me - I will be the one pushing the buttons.

Hi Alan,

Looking forward to this again - especially if it has similar elements to last years demonstration.

Being nosey as always - will the press conference contain any big news or will we just have to wait and see?

No Blu-Ray I'm afraid but we will have HD DVD and Hi bit rate material from HTPC.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, hopefully we will put on a good show for you all - enjoy!

Don't forget to enter our prize draw for a DOMINO 55M HD Ready monitor.

See you there!

Excellent! A 3-chip 1080p DLP projector, and it only costs...

HOW MUCH?

Is there any chance I could see one chapter from a DVD on the HT5000?

I'm running timed demo's and it is a set routine. However, at the end of day come back and we will run some standard DVD, although it will be sourced via the PC as we will not have standard DVD in the room.

FYI we have decided to use a ticketed system this year to try and avoid long queues and waiting times - we estimate to seat 40 people each demo.
