Panasonic PT-L592U Service

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and have done some searching, but cannot seem to find the information I need. I have the projector mentioned above, and need to service it as the convergence seems to have gone out of calibration. I'd like to find a factory service manual, but when searching Panasonic's web site they only have operator's manuals available, even through the parts department. I will give them a call during the week, but in the meantime I'd like to get the needed info.

The issue with the projector seemed to occur fairly gradually until one point in time where it got much worse more quickly. All the colors are there, but there are lines and heavy ghosting. I can focus it, but the picture is not right. I have removed and re-seated the bulb, but this did not have any positive effects. I have serviced other electronic equipment but would consider myself a beginner at this as I have never serviced an LCD projector. This was a very expensive projector for it's time, and it has less than 100 hours total time on it, so it should not be anything major (I hope!). I always carry it in the factory case, and I believe it's just something that's out of adjustment as it seemed to get worse after transporting it in my vehicle to and from work (The vibration of a heavily sprung 4X4 vehicle I'm sure didn't help).

If anyone can point me in the right direction and knows where I can get the manuals I'd be very appreciative.
