Sanyo Z4 mouting.........

ceiling mount is out of the question..
as it would be too close to the screen to get a 220cm pic.

so im going to have to mount it on the wall... 5m away from the screen.

dont fancy a shelf. so plan on using a mount..

wot would be best height to mount it....

i want to do it high enough so if u walk in front of it
u dont get blinded in the face from the light..

but i dont want to put it to high to find, its not right projecting to the screen.

thxs...

I use a wall bracket designed for a microwave, about the same height as the chap mentioned earlier. Ideally I'd have had it higher - make sure it's above your head height!

Re: Sanyo Z4 mouting.........

Mine is on a shelf which acts as a room divider between the office space and the HT. I put it on the top of the shelf resulting in 156 cm = 61.42" from the floor.

Stating the obvious here: The Z4 gets fresh air from the back and blows the heat to the right. You will need suffcient space to the back and to the right. If you put it into a shelf it may well circle the hot air around. This is one of the reasons I put it on top. The second: It is almost in the center of the screen, only a few inches left and above. The third: Perfect distance to the screen: 4 m (157") for a 90" diameter screen.

I used the calculator on their webpage to calculate the distance

i got some speaker mounts. that proberly would work. holding it from its sides.
but i think it would look a bit pants..

sooner have it mounted upside down on a proper mount.

yer i will make sure it is above head height.
so u dont get blinded when u walk past it.

i dont want to use ashelf as it will be above the sofa,

yes i know to leave space at back for air.. plus the display magic II hdmi cable is fairly thick. so i need to make sure i leave room for that to curve in..

mine will be 5m from screen.. im hoping to use a 100" screen....... cant go anymore as to left of room half way along is a pillow wall..... this would block ur viewing if i use a bigger screen then 220cm wide.

but i think 100" will be plenty..
