Epson TW10H Hi def and wavey lines?

I have had a Epson TW10H for about a year now (Although this is my third one due to problems with the other two) and I am generally happy with it. My question is if I connected up a high def player or sky box would I really see any difference on my projector?

Also on all three of the projectors I have had when the camera pans horizontally slowly you get a wavey image, does anyone know why this is?

My final question is has anybody had any problems with a flickering image, but that I mean when watching a 16:9 film there is a slight white flicker in the top of the black border at the top that sometimes gets worse and worse until the image is jumping?

So I take it by the lack of responses none of you other TW10H owners have had any similar problems?

No. What's the input source?

No.

My proj. is 18 months old and about 800hrs. Served with both SVideo and Component, haven't seen any of those artefacts.

Re: Epson TW10H Hi def and wavey lines?

I get the wavey image on my Sony VPL-VW10HT as well. I don't see it when looking at the entire image, but when focusing on a fixed object/location and following it, I can see it kinda 'stutters'. No idea why, but it hasn't really bothered me so I just ignore it. I was thinking that perhaps it's actually simply the human brain being tricky there, due to the large image seen up (relatively) close.

Re: Epson TW10H Hi def and wavey lines?

Thanks guys, my source is component. I dont think it is banding or combing as is described in other posts as I dont see lines as such the image just seems to wobble when it pans, a bit like looking at a swimming pool ( I know sounds odd)
