Samsung HT-UP30 Flicker

Hi All

I'm having a problem with flicker.

My setup is a Toshiba MT400 Projector, Samsung HT-UP30 and I'm using a component video connection (Progressive Scan)

Every now and again a distortion appears on the screen for a brief time (less than a second) then disappears again. The rest of the image is fine but the distortion is very noticeable (to me)

Could someone clear up if this is a UP30/MT400 specific or general issue. As far as I can tell the MT400 is virtually identical to the MT200.

The thing is I really like the UP30 generally, I'm very pleased with the sound quality and the DVD playback quality is excellent (apart from the odd flicker) and for £150 I'm very happy with it.

However the flicker is quite annoying!

I would switch to interlaced mode, but when I do, the MT400 claims it's not receiving a signal so as far as I can tell the Component out is PScan or nothing.
