just bought one today, When i got it home and set it up i found 3 dead pixels (green) on closer inspection of the box I noticed that there was 3 lots of packing clear packing tape 1 about 2 1/2" wide and 2 about 1" wide.

My thoughts are this I don't feel so bad if dead pixels are the luck of the draw but if the shop have had the box open and resealed it, well then I'm not so happy


has anyone bought one recently and if so how was the box sealed, as I discribed or just one peice of clear packing tape ??

I'd take it straight back!! Sounds like a graded or returned item.

I got mine from PRC in Forest Gate and watched the salesman unpack it and then test it for dead pixels.... there are none.
