TV connection to IN76

I have an IN76 projector with an S-Video, composite, M-DVI and HDMI connectors at the back.

At the moment, I connect TV to it using a freeview box and a SCART to composite connector.
I have always been told that composite is a the lowest quality interface of the 4.
Does anybody know a better way. I tried SCART to S-Video but the image
came out in black and white with lots of wavy lines across it.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I do not have SKY or cable.

does your pj have a way of accepting RGB? if so the cheapest best way to connect it would be via scart to rgb/y sync lead...

it accepts rgb but you need to use all 4 plugs (3 component+composite) and get a special cable.

I think first you should find out what your freeview box can output.
