panasonic PT-AE100E connections

Hi all,
I'm waiting delivery of a panasonic PT-AE100E
projector which has (componant video in, RCA pin jack
x 3), S/Vid in, and compisite video in (RCA) and (PC
in RGB: D-sub HD 15-pin).

please could anyone advise me on the best method for
connection to give me the best posible picture quality
from my Cyber home 528 DVD player which has componant
video out, scart out, composite video out (RCA).

I also have a Sky digital decoder, JVC video and
Hitachi TV, i also would like to link my PC in as well for playing games etc.

Please if anyone could advise me on the best methods of connection to get the best picture quality from all sources above to my new projector,
please could you also advise me on what types of
cables to buy and what types of plugs as i am thinking of making them up myself as i would need 10 metres of each from PC to
projector and 10 metres from TV area to projector.

I'm just a newby to all this so I'm looking for advice that I'll understand

Link it this way.

Hello,

The order of quality for your projector is :

VGA
Component
S-Video
composite

If you have a pc it's worth hooking that up to check out the quality, otherwise use component from your DVD, S-Video from Sky if you can otherwise you may as well use composite, you should be able to get the video with either the scart in to either your DVD or the Sky box, try it and see.

There are quite a few people here who have that projector so they may offer some help ?.

Cheers,
