Sharp z2000 vs the new breed

Hi all

After weeks of research i have decided that a DLP is the way to go for my next upgrade.I have a hitachi tx100 which is still good but after seeing a mates sharp z2000 its time to change camps.
To me the sharp altho older had a great picture.I would love to know how it compares to the newer,cheap dlps.(hd72, IN76,hc3000).
Has the Sharp had its day or is it still competitve with the newer breed?
