Time running out....

Please help.
I have Sky+ in my lounge and had hoped to relay this to my Screenplay 4805 in another room.
The pj is currently only be used to watch DVD via Denon 1920 and 1906 amp.

Today i purchased an av sender but unfortunately i have no scart connection on either the amp or pj. Is there a connector i can use to connect the av sender to enable me to connect? Otherwise is my best option to run aproxx 10meters of svideo to the amp and audio to the amp both from the sky box.
have a done a duff thing in purchasing the av sender?

Many thanks
Kev

you can get a composite/compnent to scart adapters, that might sort it out.

The 2.4GHz senders connect via scart, but send CVBS. If you get a scart breakout cable/box you may be able to get a composite signal for the pj. You may even get a mono feed for the amp. Worth a try.

Surely if you are going to all that trouble for, at the end of the day a composite connection, you'd be better off with a long S-Video cable.

A friend, Pioneerman on here is using Sky + and a 10m S-Video cable to his In72 and he says the quality of the image is fine.
The other alternative is a scart to component converter or a DVD recorder with component out which should allow you to use the sender.

i did have a basic 10 metre s-video cable for sky but i had a chicken wire effect, i recently got a better quality s-video from ebay under £10 and no chicken wire effect the picture is very good.the seller on ebay also sells a good quality (to my eyes anyway) 10 metre component for £12 inc.

S-video is fine with 10m, very stable signal type. You can also convert it to cat5 for a very thin run with a balun. I use video senders to pump Sky to all the kids tv's and it an ok picture, good enough for 32" CRT, but a pj ? And the sender cannot send component, just 3 channels, composite and stereo.

Or find a component+sound to cat5 balun. Like this:

http://www.svideo.com/1080i.html

Sends a much better signal than s-video with sound and way further without loss. £85 for a pair with shipping.
